The inaugural 2021 Eastern NC Turkey Challenge (ENTC) was a huge hit and we intended to further improve upon it by listening to what our contestants had to say. The Jones Boys from Virginia were "three-pete" big winners in 2021, 2022, and 2023 taking home cash prizes totaling near $20,000 from their victories. The 2024 ENTC only grew in excitement and the tournament was a huge success. A pair of locals (Jett Webb and Michael Stringer) took home the gold in 2024. Gun raffles, Calcutta auctions and our sponsors made prize packages top tier in 2025 with a purse that exceeded $25,000.
New for 2026:
You voiced-we listened. This years tournament will be opening weekend for NC, as in tournaments past were the second weekend. There were concerns of properties having been poached on/birds being spooked and moving the tournament up will ensure contestants get the first chance at all birds. Entry fee for this year is $2500 (which now includes 3 days of hunting) and we are cutting the teams back to a max of 20. This will free up about 25 extra properties to divvy up among the competitors from tournaments past.
Dates:
Property draw/Scout Day: April 10th beginning at TBA (tentatively 10am)
Hunt Days: April 11-13

We are giving away more money than ever before and have structured the prizes to award at least 3 different teams, with 1st place - 3rd place being the best 2-bird stringers! There is also a "big bird" consolation prize worth $3,000!

We will play host to at least 2 Calcutta pots in which 90% of money collected will be rewarded to the winning team(s).
